Incubation

K-Tech Innovation Hub, powered by IKP is a chain of hardware product startup incubators across the state of Karnataka, spanning over 50,000 sq.ft. across different centers in Karnataka. The K-Tech innovation Hubs, Powered by IKP have been set up by KITS in partnership with IKP Knowledge Park. The goal is to make Karnataka the epicentre of product innovation across the world.

KARNATAKA INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY assist the department of IT, BT and S & T in the following:

  • Create an enabling ecosystem for the development of the Information Technology and Biotechnology industry in the state through policy facilitation and investment promotion
  • Promote startups and entrepreneurs to encourage innovation and use of technology to propagate solutions in multiple sectors
  • Generate employment for the state’s youth by taking up skilling and re-skilling of people to create a ready pool of talent for the industry
  • Interface with industry, academia and R&D institutes on various matters of interest, new technology areas, collaboration with other countries/cities

The KARNATAKA INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY focuses on the vast technology sector by handling its various sub-components through separate policies:

  • AVGC Policy: Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics
  • ESDM Policy: Electronics System Design and Manufacturing
